The Story

The everyday of Bogil Island

Bogilsea Makgeolli is what islanders pour after a day at sea, mooring the boat, at the evening table. We brew it for ordinary days, not special ones.

Brewed in three stages (samyangju) and slowly fermented, it is deep and smooth, with a dry, clean finish — the taste of Bogil Island's sea itself.
